RF Design Engineer (m/f)


Be part of a professional team of wireless, electronic and software specialists. We support a developer-driven environment where you can contribute with your knowledge to the development of new radio platforms and products.


In this role, you are a technical expert responsible for the development of new radio platforms. Your domain of competency focuses on antenna design and analog electronics.



Your tasks:


  • Antenna design, from concept and simulations to implementation (PCB) and documentation
  • Transfer of antenna concepts into new products and support of product development
  • Development and evaluation of prototypes and demonstrators with respect to antenna or transceiver chipset performance
  • Troubleshooting Electromagnetic Interferences related problems in miniaturized wireless communication systems
  • Support team in view of performing radio related homologation tests
  • Consulting in analog electronics including the capability of performing characterization measurements
  • Specification, design and development of future platforms and platform features with focus on RF and analog electronics in general
  • Development and maintenance of software scripts for measurement automation and data analysis
  • Realization of feasibility studies in the RF domain with internal and external partners


Your profile:


  • Master’s Degree / Doctorate in Electrical or Microelectronics Engineering
  • At least two years of proven industrial experience as RF Design Engineer with excellent skills in antenna design for portable electronics
  • Experience with electromagnetic simulation tools and RF related lab equipment
  • Knowledge in analog electronics and PCB design is a plus
  • Ability to work on prototypes using very small SMD components 
  • Rapid perception and capability to understand complex systems
  • Systematic way of working as well as ability to structure and coordinate work packages
  • Dynamic, self-driven and team player
  • Fluent in English, good knowledge in French and / or German is a plus
