Senior Business Controlling Analyst/Finance Business Partner
The Employee purpose is to maintain and develop the full Retail Business Unit reporting infrastructure to drive actionable insights into the performance of our Group companies: support global budget and rolling forecast processes, provide financial and analytical support for various ad hoc projects; provide financial and analytical support to the Global Management Team of Retail Business Unit.
Your tasks:
- Act as key contributor in the monthly closing and reporting process.
- Provide sales analyzes and recommendations.
- Reporting and analysis of the profit & loss statement accounts, including monthly actual results, monthly forecasting and annual budgeting.
- Provide financial and analytical support for cross-functional projects
- Support the global budget and rolling forecast processes.
- Maintain & develop further standard management reports and data structures to ensure consistency and efficiency in tracking key KPIs.
- Preparation of presentations decks for weekly, monthly, annual meetings related to the business unit management.
- Own data collection and preparation for quarterly business reviews and various presentations
Your profile:
- University degree in business administration, finance, or controlling
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in controlling, financial analysis
- Experience working for an international / multinational / global company
- In-depth knowledge of data analysis and data driven action planning
- Excellent knowledge of Excel; affinity with BI tools
- Knowledge of Excell, Business Warehouse, Power Pivot, consolidation tool (Cognos, Hyperion)
- Strong business acumen
- Capable of seeing the big picture and identifying trends
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a multicultural environment
- Ability / experience in building large scale databases using different data sources
- Able to plan with multiple timelines and prioritize workload
- Excellent command of spoken and written English
