HR Generalist - Maternity Cover
As an HR Generalist at Sonova, you will join our team on a maternity cover assignment of at least 6 months, supporting all HR operations and employess experience across our site, reporting to the HR Director. You will manage the full employee lifecycle, support labor law compliance, drive performance and engagement initiatives, and help create an inclusive, positive work environment. - Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including IT setup, badges, benefits introduction, and mandatory training registration
- Maintain personnel records, manage employee data, and oversee absence/time management
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, site policies, and mandatory trainings
- Implement HR initiatives, translate documents between English and Spanish, and organize site events and community programs
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
- Support performance management processes, training coordination, and development planning
- Contribute to health and safety programs, including employee medical examinations and monitoring
More about you
- University degree in Business, HR, Psychology, Social Sciences, or a related field; Master’s in HR is a plus
- 2+ years of experience as an HR Generalist, preferably in a multinational company
- Native-level proficiency in Spanish; English minimum B2 (upper-intermediate) level
- Knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and HR tools (SuccessFactors is a plus)
- Strong communication, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
- Self-starter mindset with accountability and innovative thinking
- Data-driven and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
