IT Procurement, Senior Manager

We are seeking a dynamic IT Procurement, Senior Manager to manage all aspects of IT spend globally. This role is crucial for devising and implementing effective procurement strategies, managing supplier relations, and ensuring cost-effective purchases that align with our company goals and standards.

Your tasks

  • Develop and implement an IT procurement strategy aligned with the overall company IT strategy
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating favorable contracts and terms •    Continuously seeking cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality
  • Work closely with various departments to understand and meet their procurement needs
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and legal standards
  • Lead and manage procurement projects from conception to completion
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, presenting strategies and results to senior management
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop and execute category strategies and multi-year sourcing plans

 

Your profile

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (IT degree is a plus)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT procurement 
  • Extensive experience in software licensing, IT-service contracting, IT-outsourcing, & IT-industry specific negotiation tactics
  • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills with a self-starting, can-do attitude
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
