IT/OT Support Specialist

We are seeking a motivated IT/OT Support Specialist to join our Corporate Manufacturing Engineering team to support IT/OT initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to drive innovation, streamline processes, and enhance connectivity across our cutting-edge manufacturing operations.

 

Your tasks

 

  • Provide IT/OT support for maintaining hardware, software, automation systems, and IT infrastructure, including server migrations, software updates, and cybersecurity measures
  • Support OT cybersecurity activities within Corporate Manufacturing Engineering
  • Actively manage 3rd party vendors, local suppliers and providers to ensure they are meeting service levels (requirements and quality)
  • Actively work with 3rd party vendors to address vulnerabilities and security issues discovered, and ensure vulnerabilities and security patches are applied on OT assets
  • Develop and maintain documentation for network systems and assigned IT/OT assets
  • Ensure vulnerability monitoring system for OT is continuously updated and kept in line with Sonova global vulnerability management processes
  • Act as an ambassador of OT Cyber security and risk matters; promote information security risk awareness and build a cyber security culture globally across OT and Operations stakeholders

 

Your profile

 

  • Vocational training in IT, preferably with additional IT certifications 
  • 2–5 years of professional experience in IT Support, OT systems, and IT/OT integration
  • Experienced in IT or OT Cyber Security as well as in project management is a plus
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment is a plus
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a structured and quality-oriented approach to work
  • Fluency in English and Spanish; German is a plus
