Manager Procurement Facilities Management

Sonova is seeking a Procurement Manager with a fresh and modern outlook to join the organization and partner with Facilities Management. The goal is to achieve a significant improvement in supplier performance by providing a specific vision and strategic direction across procurement and the business, aligned with Sonova’s overall strategic needs for the environment and sustainability.
You will serve as the procurement business partner for Facilities Management, required to deliver exceptional results by developing influential and positive relationships across Sonova globally. You will be accountable for the implementation of category strategies for all third-party spend and will undertake specific procurement projects and initiatives to support Sonova’s broader business objectives, such as sustainability and ESG.


Your tasks:

  • Collaborate with the global procurement team to achieve high performance of FM suppliers, supporting Sonova Facility Management worldwide
  • Align with the Head of FM services on new and existing projects, becoming the preferred partner
  • Contribute to the strategic goals of global procurement by providing a clear category vision for FM and business partnering services globally
  • Lead FM categories with a vision that inspires and challenges both the business and supply chain
  • Develop strong commercial relationships with suppliers to continuously enhance their value proposition to Sonova
  • Manage FM spend, maintaining supply market knowledge, defining supplier capabilities, negotiating contracts, and ensuring long-term supplier performance
  • Build influential relationships within the FM business, enabling teams to manage supply chain risks
  • Foster an environment that encourages and delivers ideas to improve supplier performance
  • Drive innovation in the FM supply chain by introducing new thinking, products, services, and solutions
  • Work with the OPEX team to implement best procurement practices, policies, procedures, governance, and tools within FM categories
  • Serve as a role model and leader, promoting high integrity, trust, and commitment
  • Oversee all third-party FM spend, ensuring continuous delivery of quality, commercial value, and environmental sustainability
  • Identify and manage business supply risks within FM categories
  • Lead procurement projects as required by the procurement leadership team

 

Your profile:

  • Bachelor Degree
  • 5 years of procurement/supply chain management experience in the indirects area
  • Change management mindset with experience of driving change within a demanding timeframe
  • Team player at executive levels collaborating with business leads in finance, FM etc.
  • Proven track record of delivering value and developing procurement capability in a complex, global business
  • In-depth knowledge of sourcing and procurement principles and best practices across indirect category areas
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience of delivering large complex deals
  • Strategic mindset and ability to turn complex business problems into value creation
  • Demonstrates high priority for team and personnel development, talent management
  • Excellent English speaking skills
