Manager Product Service Data

As a Manager Product Service Data, you are responsible for managing and optimizing the service parts lifecycle and underlying logic, resulting in customer-centric, sustainable, and cost-effective service processes. 

 

Your tasks 

  • Create and set up service parts in the ERP system, collaborating with service process managers to ensure accurate information entry 
  • Coordinate the release of parts with service process managers and other departments to ensure timely and efficient releases 
  • Liaise with master data teams to ensure on-time delivery of service parts for product validation and launch, minimizing potential delays 
  • Develop and implement processes for the "End of Service" phase, including forecasting remaining service volumes and managing inventory changes 
  • Provide guidance on replacement strategies after product changes or post-launch engineering projects, aligning with service forecasts 
  • Continuously enhance service parts management practices, including lot sizes and packaging, and confirm local change requests; aim for process harmonization and standardization across R&D sites 
  • Keep all relevant documentation current and accessible to support transparency and efficiency in service parts management 
  • Develop and refine models to forecast service volumes, incorporating internal and external drivers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams 

 

Your profile 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical field, demonstrating a strong foundation in engineering or a related discipline 
  • Strong technical understanding and ability to quickly grasp complex concepts related to service parts management 
  • Interest in working with ERP systems like SAP, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to convey complex topics to diverse audiences 
  • Proven collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with teams across different departments and geographical locations 
  • Strong interest in data analysis and the ability to derive actionable insights from data to drive process improvements 
  • Detail-oriented and committed, with a proactive approach to managing tasks and responsibilities 
  • Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new challenges, demonstrating flexibility and resilience in a dynamic work environment 
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines 
  • Strong influencing skills, with the ability to impact decision-making processes across all levels of the organization and motivate others to achieve goals
