Clerk, Quality Assurance (Onsite)

 

Cross functional interface with multiple departments to ensure accurate receiving of incoming biohazardous materials, keeping accurate data records throughout the process, creation of Failure Analysis Records, and data entry on the complaint records. (Un) packs or (un) wraps items such as raw materials, assemblies, parts, supplies, equipment, etc. Verifies quantities, documentation, and conformance of materials to stated identifications; logs receipt of items on system, processes all documentation in an accurate and timely manner Conducts decontamination and photo documentation of RMA products.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with Global Customer Service, Complaint Management, Clinical Quality Assurance, Receiving Department, Failure Analysis, and Legal Department to facilitate the proper receipt and handling of RMA products.
  • Accurately Receives orders into SAP to ensure the highest quality and accuracy in the handling of all products into Decontamination areas.
  • Decontaminate explanted RMA product following written procedure.
  • Process decontamination email notifications and Explant Device Information Sheets (EDIS) in accordance with defined procedures.
  • Process and identify returned products flagged for Legal Hold and sequester and secure as appropriate.
  • Log in and sort RMA products for External FA and perform disposition of Aging RMA’s.
  • Perform photographic documentation on returned RMA products.
  • Follow written procedures in processing returned devices.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed notes and entries in a database.
  • Performs additional related work as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED

Nice to Have

  • AA or AS completed in any discipline.

 

 

Work Experience

  • 2-5 years with organizational responsibilities and independent work experience.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with Biohazard material.

 

 

Language(s)/ Level

  • English/ Fluent

 

 

IT Skills

  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); Familiarity with Internet use e.g. cloud-based services.

Nice to Have

  • MS Powerpoint

 

 

Further Requirements

  • Perform Inspections using a Microscope.
  • Ability to maintain accurate and timely database records.

 

 

A minimum of 200Mb/sec download and 10Mb/sec upload speed internet connectivity is required to support any remote/hybrid employee functionality at Sonova

This role's pay range is between: $20.00/hr - $30.00/hr (based on location). This role is also bonus eligible.
