Compliance Intern

We’re looking for a motivated, analytical, and detail-oriented Compliance Intern to support our OneSource Hearing and Compliance functions. This role will contribute to real, hands-on work across corporate compliance programs, internal controls, policy governance, audit processes, and compliance system implementation. The person in this role will gain exposure to legal operations, compliance, audit, reporting, and cross-functional business projects while working closely with a collaborative, fast-paced team.

 

Responsibilities:

• Support compliance initiatives by meeting regularly with the Audit team to review action plans, project timelines, and next steps
• Assist with mapping controls from legacy systems into a new compliance management system
• Upload and organize prior audit cycle evidence and supporting documentation into the new system platform
• Partner with IT and business stakeholders to map SAP-based controls and create labels and classifications
• Coordinate the policy review and approval process for new and updated 2026 policy documents
• Assist with onboarding and implementation activities for KPI dashboards and reporting tools
• Help prepare, update, and distribute weekly and monthly compliance and audit reporting
• Support internal audits, compliance assessments, documentation tracking, research, and special projects as assigned

 

More about you:

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Legal Studies, Business, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Political Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Self-motivated with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proactive, curious, and comfortable asking questions
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across multiple departments
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Exposure to SAP, compliance management systems, dashboards, or reporting tools is a plus

 

A minimum of 200Mb/sec download and 10Mb/sec upload speed internet connectivity is required to support any remote/hybrid employee functionality at Sonova

This role's pay range is between: $18 – 20 hourly  . This role is also commission eligible/bonus eligible.
