HR Shared Servic Coordinator

Purpose of role: HR Shared Service Coordinator supports HR transactional functions.

Main Tasks and Responsibities:

  • Responsible for HR administration in the areas of local HRIS, immigration, payroll and other general HR areas.
  • Responsible for data entry, workflow activities, review and initial reporting of employee changes and updates of applicable local HR-based systems.
  • Assemble and follow-up with HR and Sonova AG teams as necessary for initial employee data, approvals and forms.
  • Assist in HR transactions including mergers, acquisitions, relocations, divestitures and legal integrations.
  • Assist with immigration related administration including data, files and approvals as directed.
  • Responsible for development of basic HR reporting.
  • Assist team with first-level support for employee inquiry.
  • Monitor the HR shared email box, answering questions as appropriate and routing emails to appropriate team members.
  • Responsible for creation and maintenance of employee files.
  • Operate in compliance with all local, state and Federal laws as well as Company policy and compliance standards.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.



Education and Skillset:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrates flexible and efficient time management with ability to prioritize workload, effectively communicate and maintain strict confidentiality
  • Works collaboratively to build, develop and implement process improvements
  • Self -directed  with strong attention to detail; excellent verbal and written communication skills; working knowledge of ADP, HR principles and practices and labor laws
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
