Director, Operations AODC
The Director, Operations will be responsible for directing the entire Order Entry, Production, Service, and Supply Chain operations. In addition, will serve as the finance Point of contact for Sonova USA operations team and collaborate closely with the local and global controlling departments.
This position will be based out of Aurora, Illinois. But needs to be willing to relocate in 2 to 3 years.
Responsibilities:
- Direct responsibility of the AODC production, service and supply chain, including close collaboration with functional teams within all Sonova U.S. entities and across multiple global business units
- Responsible to process and deliver high quality product and service
- Accountable for planning and execution of the budget and all financial activities at AODC
- Responsible for SAP and BW data management and reporting
- Provides vision and leadership in identifying the next generation of order entry and warehouse/shipping operations
- Responsible for planning, assigning and directing activities for indirect reports: appraising performance; rewarding and addressing performance issues: addressing complaints and resolving problems
- Ensures that, as the company grows, distribution capabilities meet or exceed all industry and customer requirements for cost, quality and responsiveness
- Oversees and drives continuous improvement in all key areas of the operation including safety, quality, cost, delivery and employee engagement
- Applies progressive quality process audits, policy deployments and other proactive quality management practices
- Determines the resources, skills, and structure needed for the operations organization to achieve business objectives. Encourage and ensure career development and succession planning discussions.
- Participates as a member of the senior management team
More about you:
- BA / BS Degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum 7 years of management experience in the Hearing Aid industry preferred OR related management experience in order management or distribution/warehousing
- Results driven individual that takes accountability in meeting production and business goals
- Self-motivated and strong attention to detail
- Strong project management and multi-tasking skills
- Able to collaborate across multiple functional teams within U.S. and globally
- Able to speak comfortably and with confidence in small and large group setting
- Team player
- Able to develop managers and staff
- Able to manage a diverse team of employees with varying skills and proficiencies
- Able to motivate and lead an organization
- Excellent computer skills
- Experience in SAP
A minimum of 200Mb/sec download and 10Mb/sec upload speed internet connectivity is required to support any remote/hybrid employee functionality at Sonova

This role's pay range is between: $186,000 – 195,000 . This role is also bonus eligible. Compensation is based on skillset and locations.
