Position Summary

As a Financial Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving financial strategy and decision-making. You will be responsible for providing insightful analysis, developing financial models, and supporting strategic initiatives.

Location: Illinois (Aurora) – Hybrid Schedule with two remote days.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $85,000 - $107,000

Your role at AudioNova:

Financial Planning and Analysis:

  • Develop and maintain accurate financial models and forecasts to support business decisions.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for management.
  • Conduct variance analysis to understand deviations from budget and forecast.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop annual budgets and forecast.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure alignment with strategic goals.

Ad-hoc Analysis and Reporting:

  • Support ad-hoc requests from management and internal customers, providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of specific business issues, such as profitability, pricing or market trends.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and systems.
  • Implement new tools and technologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, or a related field.

Industry/Product Knowledge Required:

  • Hearing healthcare industry knowledge, preferred

Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including financial modeling and data analysis techniques.
  • Experience with financial planning and budgeting.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • A proactive and results-oriented approach.

 

Work Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in a corporate FP&A role.
  • Advanced database modeling, report creation and report generation experience
