Provider Relations Specialist

Purpose of role: The Provider Relations Specialist will support Account Representatives (inside and outside) and their customers who are among the Sonova Provider Base in their engagement with Sonova Referral Network Partners. The Referral Network Specialist will also work to ensure HCP coverage of Sonova friendly providers in each of our partners’ networks.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Managed Care Sales Leaders, key account managers and field and inside sales staff to gather and communicate insights which are useful in furthering our understanding of the managed care competitive environment and needs of providers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with applicable partner recruiting departments to uncover opportunities and provide leads of Sonova providers to partners.
  • Participate in calls with providers to increase understanding of how Sonova supports their involvement
  • Provide onboarding/credentialing assistance including communication of what known opportunities exist with current partners.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

 

Education and Skillset:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 1 year experience in hearing aid industry, Network Provider recruiting experience preferred
  • Understanding of the basic flow of managed care transactions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Proficient in Salesforce.com reporting and data analysis
  • Intermediate skill in Excel data organization and analysis
  • Experience with IRIS, ODBC preferred

A minimum of 200Mb/sec download and 10Mb/sec upload speed internet connectivity is required to support any remote/hybrid employee functionality at Sonova
