More about the role
We’re looking for a Senior Clinical and Business Development Manager to join the AB team in Australia. This strategic role combines clinical expertise, business development and coaching/mentoring developing team members, and is responsible for:
- Developing and delivering training programs for hearing care professionals on AB products and technology.
- Providing expert clinical support to hearing care professionals and addressing clinical issues in collaboration with the APAC support team.
- Developing and implementing strategies to expand market penetration and driving the growth of AB’s business in Australia.
- Ensuring regulatory compliance and contributing to clinical trials.
- Building relationships with key healthcare stakeholders, attending industry events and conferences to stay updated and to share insights on the latest developments in cochlear implant technology.
- Maintaining accurate records of clinical activities and providing regular updates on clinical outcomes, trends and customer feedback to internal stakeholders and hearing care partners.
- Building and growing relationships across the different Sonova business lines to uncover opportunities for growth and synergy.
More about you
- Education: Audiology degree (BS) required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Clinical Experience: A minimum of 10 years' experience in clinical audiology, including expertise with cochlear implants. Proficiency in cochlear implant mapping is essential. Experience with AB products and mapping software is a plus.
- Business Development Experience: Experience in business development and sales in the medical device industry is highly desirable.
- Travel: Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time, including to various clinical sites and industry events.
- Social competencies: exceptional relationship-building, influencing, and communication skills; ability to handle rejection and remain resilient, persistent and adaptable, demonstrates resourcefulness, thrives in roles that require both strategic thinking and hands on action, enjoys the challenge of growing a brand.
