Senior Manager Group Communications (9-month maternity leave cover)

Are you a seasoned communications professional looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic and growing organization? Sonova is seeking a Senior Manager Group Communications to join our team remotely in Germany.


In this role, you will work closely with senior management and an international team of highly skilled professionals specializing in media relations, strategy, internal and change communications, as well as business-unit related communications.


You will provide strategic communications advisory and hands-on implementation to Sonova’s Group Management Board and their leadership teams, driving key audience understanding and engagement around Sonova’s strategic communication themes. Together with the Group Communications team, you will ensure the planning and execution of 360-degree global communications initiatives, strengthening the company’s reputation, culture and identity.


It’s a fully remote position based in Germany.

 

Your tasks

 

  • Consult, advise on, design, and implement multi-stakeholder, 360-degree communications strategies to engage key audiences (internal and external) in relevant Group/Thought Leadership and business topics
  • Develop 360-degree content and relevant newsflow based on business and functional priorities through engaging formats, in consultation with key stakeholders
  • Create and deliver compelling employee engagement content to build awareness of Group strategy
  • Proactively advise on and manage change initiatives and potential issues, developing response plans, holding statements, Q&As, etc.
  • Collaborate with communications and change management professionals in the regions and brands to drive the agreed strategic communications priorities
  • Ensure a data and insights driven approach to communications and formats, validate formats and channels are fit for purpose and meaningfully drive engagement
  • Strengthen the “One Sonova” culture and sense of belonging through dedicated initiatives


Your profile

 

  • Minimum of 5 years of communications experience in international companies, with the ability to independently take accountability and responsibility for achieving goals
  • Superior writing and editing skills in a variety of styles, for use across print and digital formats
  • Proven experience and impact in driving transformation and change management activities
  • Experience overseeing and developing multimedia and online communications, including webcasts, podcasts, social media, and websites
  • Excellent proficiency in English, German language skills an absolute bonus
  • Both strategically oriented and a hands-on operator
