Senior Software Engineer
We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer / Software Backend Developer to help build the secure, scalable infrastructure behind Sonova’s digital hearing health solutions. You’ll work on cloud-based systems that power mobile and web applications, ensuring performance, reliability, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and document cloud-based backend systems
- Write clean, testable, and efficient C# code
- Develop independent software components with synchronous/asynchronous communication
- Ensure platform reliability and failover mechanisms
- Manage monitoring and alerting infrastructure
- Troubleshoot issues and provide 2nd/3rd level support
- Drive DevOps lifecycle, automation, and orchestration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on secure, scalable solutions
Your Profile
- Strong experience in C# and .NET in a web environment
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and NoSQL databases (e.g., CosmosDB)
- Experience with Docker, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure (AKS, ServiceBus, Functions)
- Understanding of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JS, Angular)
- Solid grasp of software development lifecycle and DevOps practices
- Analytical, solutions-oriented, and self-disciplined
- Fluent in English; German is a plus
