Audiologist - Brisbane

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Audiologist for our well-established clinic in Brisbane. 

 

This is a permanent full-time role, 5 days per week from Monday to Friday.

What will you be doing?

  • Help clients with their hearing and balance problems by providing professional recommendations about best rehabilitation options and providing clear rehabilitation programs considering the client’s difficulties, lifestyle, management abilities and budget.
  • Perform clinical assessments in-line with current best practice and the Company’s clinical protocols and communicate assessment results and subsequent recommendations.
  • Meet our clients’ needs, wherever possible, through providing appropriate and professional advice, services and devices.
  • Offering counselling and education to patients and their families regarding hearing loss management and communication strategies.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Take part in professional development and training to maintain current and diverse knowledge in your specialist areas of audiology.

 

What do you need to be successful in this role?

  • 3-5 years' experience in Adult Rehabilitation and experience in either diagnostics (audiograms & hearing tests in a medical setting) or paediatrics.
  • A relevant qualification in Audiology.
  • Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
  • Current registration with the appropriate professional body.
  • Solid audiological skills and knowledge.
  • Excellent levels of customer care and service, and a passion for delivering an amazing client experience.
  • A commitment to building strong therapeutic relationships with our clients, and achieving the highest standards in audiological care.
  • An understanding of, and commitment to, ensuring the commercial success of the business.
  • A desire to support other members of your team, and nurture an inclusive and enthusiastic culture in the region.
  • Well-developed interpersonal, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Dedication to staying updated with industry advancements.
