SAP Systems Developer / Software Quality Engineer

Your development journey begins with Sonova’s SAP CC Team. Grow your personal competences in consulting and leadership and deploy worldwide projects and process improvements. S/4 HANA implementation is on our roadmap. Our supportive and self-inspired team colleagues, located in our headquarters in Stäfa, Switzerland, Poland, China and US, awaits you in a friendly and collaborative atmosphere.


Your tasks:

  • Design and develop applications, interfaces, integration and migration software
  • Design and modularize programs and databases
  • Create and extend program specifications
  • Develop and maintain printing solutions (forms, labels)
  • Understand and setup of system communication and protocols
  • Coordinate, manage & approve all assigned transport requests
  • Support infrastructure setup, resolve issues and keep systems and applications up to date
  • Define, maintain and document quality standards and best practices for development
  • Define technology of interfaces (WSDL, EDI, IDOC, ODBC etc.)
  • Coordinate developments with other (internal or external) developers
  • Prepare test data and pretest new functionalities
  • Ensure implementation, documentation and maintenance of developments in a validated environment according to GRC requirements & policies (Authorization, CSV, GxP etc.)
  • Quality review and approval of developments
  • Create and review solution architecture documents


Your profile:

  • 7+ years of professional development experience with SAP, ABAP/4, ABAP objects (ABAP-OO)
  • Familiar with SAP Standard Functionalities (eg. ERP, Hana etc.) and Custom Development procedures
  • Multiple end to end project lifecycle experience for implementing SAP & other Business Systems
  • Experience with relevant IT Technologies and Protocols (eg. Adobe Forms, EDI, ODBC, RFC, XML etc.)
  • Experience with relevant IT/SAP Accelerators (Project Tools, Data Migration Tools, Frontend Simplification Tools etc.)
  • Acquainted with Waterfall and Agile project implementation methodologies
  • Strong sense of ownership, urgency and drive
  • Structured and focused in approach, communication, execution
  • Ability to work well with people and be both highly self-motivated and motivating
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate and share knowledge
  • Interested in change and able to stay up-to-date with new innovations
