Lyric Key Account Manager – Central
Purpose of role: This role exists to ensure we cultivate and maintain relationships with our top Lyric accounts in the market by positioning ourselves as a strategic partner providing real value to our accounts and implementing critical business initiatives. The Lyric Key Account Manager will focus in three critical areas, deepening relationships with our existing Lyric customers, driving growth among our top Lyric providers, and cultivating new Lyric business within the region.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Develop strategies and execute initiatives to protect and grow the targeted Lyric accounts in the US, and to grow Lyric business from within the targets
- Implement targeted sales & marketing programs to build awareness, create demand, and generate leads for Lyric products, services and solutions.
- Lyric clinical and educational specialist for their geography
- Play key role in increasing fitter confidence and competence in successfully fitting Phonak Lyric
- Make required number of sales calls per week to current or new customers within territory
- Coordinates with trainers to ensure optimal deployment
- On-boarding and training of new accounts
- Maintain and increase sales of all products within territory
- Training on the fitting and fine tuning of products and software
- Assess accounts’ physical and clinical equipment along with fitters’ clinical skills and commitment to help sales and marketing with new clinic or expansion decisions
- Certify fitters who are onboarding are trained to sufficient level to see patients
- Identify partnership program for target accounts
- Create and monitor sales funnel for target accounts
- Ensure all customer needs are met through personal or group product training
- Engage with key Lyric providers to drive revenue growth and daily wear adoption
- Comply with internal policies and procedures, including documenting customer visits in Salesforce
- Maintain timely and accurate expense reporting in Concur
- Comply with all local, state and federal laws and requirements
- Other duties as assigned
Success will be measured by:
- The sales performance of the targeted accounts within their geographic area of coverage, as identified as defend / grow / acquire targets
- Growth of Lyric KPIs in the targeted accounts
- Revenue growth within top Lyric accounts
Education and Skillset:
- Bachelor’s Degree required, Au.D or Master’s Degree in Audiology preferred
- 7-10 years related experience around value added services, business consulting or related field
- Experience in the hearing healthcare industry and/or business consulting a plus
- Strong problem solving abilities and capability to work under pressure
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Proven track record of maintaining strong relationships
- Action oriented and drives for results
- Effective communication skills
- Exceptional presentation skills
- Team player
- Proficient knowledge of hearing aid technology and industry practices
- Experience fitting Phonak products a plus
- Strong skills with Microsoft Office Suite, experience with CRM systems a plus
A minimum of 200Mb/sec download and 10Mb/sec upload speed internet connectivity is required to support any remote/hybrid employee functionality at Sonova

If the applicant selected for this role resides in CA, CO, NY or WA we adhere to the pay transparency required in those states. This role's pay range is between: $85,000 – $100,000 . This role is also commission eligible/bonus eligible.
