Junior Specialist Technical Documentation - Parental leave replacement 18 months

Your task:
- Write, create, and design high quality user documentation such as technical manuals, user guides, safety guides and quick guides. This includes editorial writing work, create illustrations and arranging layouts and templates.
- Proofreading and ensure accuracy on technical documentations
- Plan and delegate tasks with external vendors (e.g. editorial support and translations)
- Maintain/update user documentation in product lifecycle
- Develop and maintain detailed databases of appropriate reference materials, including research, usability tests, and design specifications
- Work closely with development and product management and organise into concise documentation addressing needs and expectations of customers
- Coordinate translations into easily understandable language
- Manage the production of user documents in collaboration with the purchasing department and Project Teams.
- Participate in testing the products against the design specifications and assist in deciding how to deliver the information to the end user
- Upload and manage guides in the collaborative product development platform, such as PLM database and publish the guides on the global website (Web-CMS)
- Follow documented standard for regulatory compliance, processes and procedures required to create effective and accurate product documentation
- Develop plans to ensure to meet project deadlines and provide active independent support to projects milestones completed in time
Your profile:
- Completed professional training of at least 3 years in the field of technical documentation, marketing or copywriting
- Professional experience as a technical writer and familiar with structured documentation creation in editorial systems
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
- It would be great, if you have worked with editorial systems before and have basid knowledge with the programs Adobe Framemaker, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat and the Microsoft Office package
