UX/UI Design Manager - Mobile App (m/f/d)
As UX/UI Design Manager (m/f/d) for the Sennheiser Mobile App, you will shape how millions of users experience sound on a daily basis. From first pairing to fine-tuning audio profiles, your designs will translate advanced audio technology into intuitive, beautiful, and inspiring mobile experiences.
Working closely with product, engineering, and hardware teams, you’ll sit at the heart of our audio ecosystem — crafting digital touchpoints that reflect Sennheiser’s premium lifestyle positioning and passion for sound.
More about the role
- Design end-to-end mobile experiences for iOS and Android — from user journeys and wireframes to refined, pixel-perfect interfaces
- Turn complex technical and hardware requirements into simple, elegant user experiences for Bluetooth-connected audio devices
- Create engaging interfaces for sound personalization such as EQs, ANC, sound profiles, and user preferences
- Design seamless onboarding, device pairing, and firmware update flows that feel effortless and premium
- Conduct user research and usability testing to continuously refine and elevate the experience
- Build interactive prototypes and evolve design systems to ensure consistency and scalability
- Collaborate closely with developers during implementation and QA to ensure design excellence
- Identify and manage external UX/UI partners to support increased scope and upcoming product launches
More about you
- 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, ideally in consumer electronics, lifestyle brands, or app-hardware ecosystems
- A strong portfolio showcasing mobile app design for iOS and Android (experience with connected devices is a big plus)
- Solid understanding of Bluetooth connectivity, device pairing, permissions, and dynamic device states
- Experience designing audio-related interfaces (EQs, presets, sound profiles) or strong passion for sound and music
- Proficiency in Figma and modern prototyping tools
- Deep understanding of mobile design guidelines (Apple HIG, Material Design)
- Comfortable working in agile, cross-functional environments
- Fluent in English; German or additional languages are a plus
