Senior Director, Commercial Excellence

In this remote position, the Senior Director, Commercial Excellence will showcase their strategic leadership, coaching and mentoring skills, business acumen and vision to drive profitable growth and achievement of business goals. The Senior Directoe, Commercial Excellence wil lead and direct key sales initiatives nationally to achieve sales budgets, accretive profit margins, exceptional customer/patient experience and assigned KPIs .  Talent management remains a key focus to driving the success of the business.

 

Responsibilities & Duties 

  •  Lead salesforce effectiveness efforts to achieve revenue, margin, OpEx, LCM.
  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, training teams to design and execute continuous improvement efforts including capacity management, funnel development, conversion rates, and value selling
  • Generate data-based sales funnel insights that drive profitability for success in clinics.  Ensure that Company wide KPI dashboard with key metrics is used/optimized
  • Motivate and inspire the sales team to enthusiastically embrace and adhere to the policies and procedures of AudioNova U.S.
  • Use the Sonova Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) plan to drive employee engagement and achieve KPIs using Pay for Performance methodologies.  Monitor the effectiveness of the SIP and recommend adjustments based on data-driven insights
  • Work cross functionally with other leaders to execute on all Talent Management initiatives including development, appraisal, succession planning, performance management and other HCM KPIs such as rVTO & ILRR
  • Maintain a working knowledge of significant developments and trends in the industry including Competitor Intel, Telehealth, Omnichannel, and online sales
  • Partner with Real Estate, Facilities & Branding to ensure Portfolio/Footprint management, branding and positioning, to drive market share growth 
  • Ensure all employees delivering Sonova Audiological Care patient and sales process i.e. Cycle of Sales; BLINK; Audiological requirements.  Define the customer experience on store level and all supporting Net Promoter Score (NPS) system to measure delivery of the customer  satisfaction. 
  • Optimize the key resources in the business model  to develop strategies & capabilities to align growing customer demand with shortage of HCP hours.  Continuously drive the productivity of the system. 
  • Ensure all local and global initiatives are prioritized per the annual budget process and strategic plan
  • Support HearMe strategies to improve engagement across the business to achieve a positive sustainable engagement score
  • Partner with Real Estate, Facilities & Branding to ensure Portfolio/Footprint management, branding and positioning, to drive market share growth 
  • Maintain and promote a culture that is consistent with the values and vision of Sonova
  • Drive SonovaX tools to encompass all continuous improvement initiatives, including Kaizen, A3PS, Value Stream Mapping & Hoshin Kanri
  • Operates in compliance with all local, state and federal laws 
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

  • Strong content and business plan preparation and presenting skills
  • Multi-unit management experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook, especially PowerPoint & Excel

 

Work Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years relevant multi-unit management experience
  • Previous business management experience 
  • Hearing Healthcare management experience required
  • Proven marketing, sales and business growth success within a high-touch customer-focused environment

  • This role's pay range is between: $145,000/yr - $165,000/yr (based on location). This role is also bonus eligible.
