Cochlear Implant Consumer Specialist

Advanced Bionics is seeking a Cochlear Implant Consumer Specialist to support consumer sales, lead generation, and relationship-building within the Los Angeles area. This role partners closely with regional sales teams, hearing healthcare professionals, cochlear implant clinics, recipients, and community partners to educate, support, and connect candidates with Advanced Bionics solutions.

 

Responsibilities:

• Develop local market strategies to drive consumer sales and support regional sales goals
• Build relationships with hearing healthcare professionals, cochlear implant clinics, AB recipients, and other lead sources
• Educate lead sources and consumers on cochlear implant eligibility, benefits, and processes
• Conduct 1:1 meetings with healthcare professionals, cochlear implant candidates, and AB recipients
• Plan and support open houses, community events, and lead-generating activities
• Manage the consumer sales funnel, monitor lead activity, and support follow-up efforts
• Document customer engagement, leads, opportunities, and activities in GCRM

 

More about you:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• At least one year of experience working with adult and pediatric cochlear implant patients
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a regional team
• Professional, courteous, and comfortable representing Advanced Bionics virtually and in person
• Ability to build trust, influence others, and maintain integrity in customer interactions
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office, web tools, email, phone, and customer relationship systems

 

A minimum of 200Mb/sec download and 10Mb/sec upload speed internet connectivity is required to support any remote/hybrid employee functionality at Sonova

This role's pay range is between:$62,400 - $78,000 . This role is also commission eligible/bonus eligible.
