Position Summary
As a Regional Director, Hearing Care at AudioNova, you are responsible for directing and leading the Regional Manager, Hearing Care, a team of Hearing Care Professionals and support staff in a designated region. As a strong leader you will guide, coach and mentor your team while leveraging your strong business acumen to drive your team towards achieving sales budget, assigned key performance indicators (KPIs) and profit. The RD will lead the team to provide exceptional customer experience through providing the highest standards of care by following Pinnacle Audio Care. Talent management is a key focus in this position, as it plays a vital role in driving the overall success of the business.
Your role at AudioNova
- Lead and inspire the sales team to achieve KPIs such as revenue targets, Average Selling Price (ASP),Gross Margin, Local Contribution Margin (LCM), ASP, Help Rate and Same Day Help
- Manage, coach and develop a team of Hearing Care Professionals and support employees, including selection, hiring, development and performance management
- Effectively manage and support change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transition while minimizing disruption to the organization
- Motivate the team to enthusiastically embrace the policies and procedures of AudioNova
- Ensure the team provides a customer-centered approach by exploring the customer's lifestyle needs through MEET customer journey and services, providing best practices for all customer visits, and motivating the customers to improve their quality of life through the use of the latest hearing care solutions.
- Ensure all employees are compliant with AudioNova’s local and global policies and procedures, including HIPAA, licensing, state mandated CEUs and billing requirements of all dispensing employees
- Ensure that all employees adhere to AudioNova’s customer and sales process, which includes but is not limited to applicable sales systems and processes, as well as meeting audiological requirements
- Work collaboratively with other leaders to execute on all talent management initiatives including development, appraisal, succession planning, performance management while meeting other KPI expectations such as Regrettable Voluntary Turnover (rVTO) & Internal Leadership Recruitment Rate (ILRR)
- Lead HearMe strategies to improve engagement across the region to achieve a positive sustainable engagement score
- Ensure adherence to all Sonova D&I principals
- Maintain awareness of industry trends and developments including competitor intel, Telehealth, Omnichannel, and online sales
- Collaborate with Real Estate, Facilities & Branding to execute on portfolio management initiatives such as openings, closures, renovations, refreshes and other capital projects
- Experience in transition and integration of new clinics and employees through acquisition or greenfield
- Foster a culture that aligns with the values and vision of AudioNova
- Support the Senior Director, Sales with strategic projects
- Ensure compliance with all local, state and federal laws as well as AudioNova brand standards
- Perform other assigned duties and responsibilities
Job Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree, or Equivalent Experience required
- MBA, preferred

- Hearing Healthcare, Medical Retail, Retail
Skills/Abilities:
- Effective and professional verbal, written, and virtual communication skills
- Strong business acumen
- Marketing and promotion experience
- Solid analytic and problem solving skills
- Strong leadership, coaching, mentorship and counseling skills
- Multi-unit management experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook, especially PowerPoint & Excel
Work Experience:
- Minimum 2 to 3 years relevant multi-unit management experience
- Previous business management experience
- Hearing Healthcare management experience a plus
- Proven marketing, sales and business growth success within a high-touch customer-focused environment
