Senior Finance Manager
Purpose of the role
The Senior Finance Manager leads the local finance function within Sonova Turkey (GC Sonova and AB). You will act as the independent guard of the company’s assets, ensuring profitability while safeguarding compliance and performance across the organization. In this role, you will manage the local finance team, drive financial governance, and act as a trusted business partner to the management team, supporting strategic and operational decisions.

• Lead and manage the local finance team, including accountants, controllers, tax, and treasury specialists, ensuring adequate staffing, development, and contingency planning
• Oversee accounting and financial reporting in line with Sonova policies, IFRS, local statutory and tax requirements, including timely monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
• Manage opex, expense control, capital expenditure, balance sheet items, working capital, and customer financing arrangements
• Act as the local treasury and tax point of contact, including cash management, banking, tax compliance, and coordination with Group Treasury and Tax teams
• Drive financial governance and internal control processes, including audits, ICS, and documentation of key financial controls
• Serve as a trusted financial business partner to the Managing Director and local management team, providing financial insights and supporting strategic decision-making
• Lead planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with business and corporate guidance
• Ensure full transparency of GC performance via reporting, analysis, and KPIs, supporting continuous improvement initiatives
• Supervise local IT and procurement functions to guarantee efficient operations, compliance, and alignment with group standards
More about you
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration; Master’s degree preferred
• 5+ years of experience in financial management or controlling, ideally in an international environment
• Strong expertise in business controlling, accounting (IFRS & statutory), tax, treasury, and process improvement
• Excellent analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills with strong commercial acumen
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams in a dynamic environment
• Strong presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills to interact with all levels of the organization
• Fluent in English and Turkish, both written and spoken
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP/BI systems; experience with SAP or Cognos is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced matrix organization and manage competing priorities effectively
