Technical Service Manager

The Technical Service Manager plays a vital role in ensuring timely, high-quality repair services while driving efficiency and standardization across production workflows. This position is responsible for managing, supporting, and maintaining the repair operation, ensuring effective supervision, guidance, and team coordination.

Key responsibilities include measuring production performance against KPIs, fostering a well-trained and empowered team capable of delegating tasks and leading operations aligned with business needs. The role also upholds Sonova Group guidelines while continuously supporting business growth and expanding the team to meet evolving demands.

 

Your tasks:

  • Ensure product is repair and delivered in line with corporate measures and  repair requirements 
  • Accomplish the assignments and directives of the Corporate OPS Management  in a professional and timely manner. 
  • Work with other members of the organization to assist them in their efforts to achieve the group objectives (one’s ability to be a team player)
  • Successfully communicate and represent the position of the organization with external bodies i.e. customers, suppliers and other divisions within the Sonova Group. 
  • Lead and develop the members of their team to ensure that the departmental targets and objectives are met and improved upon year on year
  • Interact as part of the team, challenging their peers and Leaders to ensure that the business moves forward in a clear cohesive manner 


Your profile:

  • Degree in Engineering 
  • 7+ years of experience working in a production manufacturing facility (medical devices is a huge plus)
  • Experience in managing large demanding teams 
  • Ability to work with international stakeholders 
  • Knowledge of SAP philosophies, best practices
  • Ability to operate a personal computer using software such as Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint)
  • Analytical and conceptual thinking
  • Willingness to perform and result orientation
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills
