Account Manager
The Account Manager is responsible for all Unitron sales and is the primary point of contact for the brand in the assigned region. The Account Manager prepares and implements sales and promotional strategies to ensure that sales results are achieved/exceeded. The Account Manager has responsibility for sales activity in Southwestern Ontario.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for meeting and achieving budgeted sales and ASP (average selling price) targets, territory planning, and reporting.
- Develops sales strategies for targeting and onboarding new clients, and to grow the existing customer base.
- Face to face training and demonstrations as needed in clinic.
- Provides training and support for clinicians, as well as patient troubleshooting in clinic and remotely as needed.
- Plans, schedules and maintains contact with customers, while meeting/exceeding call volume and customer interaction requirements as part of the role.
- Participates in trade shows, conventions, seminars, and customer events.
- Keeps abreast of recent technological changes, and demonstrates in-depth knowledge of Unitron products, software and value added services.
- Works in collaboration with other departments in establishing strategic initiatives and plans of action to support territory growth.
- Other duties as assigned by the Director, Unitron.
Travelling Requirement: 20% in Ontario
More about you:
- Completed Secondary School
Nice to Have: Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales or Marketing
Master's degree in Audiology or Hearing Instruments Specialist diploma.
Background in medical, technical products or Audiology.
- Minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience / account management.
Nice to Have: 2+ years’ experience in field sales management
Experience in medical device sales
Experience in sales funnel management
- Detail oriented, strategic mindset, Strong time-management and follow up skills
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Ability to influence and persuade
- Microsoft Office applications, Experience with CRM, preferable experience with Salesforce.
Additional Requirements: Ability to understand audiology technology and willingness to travel overnight frequently
A minimum of 200Mb/sec download and 10Mb/sec upload speed internet connectivity is required to support any remote/hybrid employee functionality at Sonova
