Electronic Systems Developer

The Electronic Systems Developer is responsible for developing, building and maintaining measurement and configuration system hardware 

 

Responsibilities:  

  • Development, creation and maintenance of hardware for manufacturing systems 

  • Design and layout of printed circuit boards (PCBs)  

  • Active maintenance and development of know-how in PCB technologies 

  • Software development and maintenance for manufacturing systems (LabVIEW)  

  • Ensure on-time delivery of manufacturing systems, taking into account high process stability, cost effectiveness, mass production, ease of use, as well as low maintenance effort  

  • Support for manufacturing systems in the Sonova Operations Centers, R&D Centers and Regional Centers 

  • Company internal consulting in measuring technology 

  • Creation and maintenance of the required technical documentation and procedures according to external regulations and internal SOPs 

 

 More about you:  

  • Education in Electronics – vocational training or higher education like BSc in Electronics, Automation or similar 

  • 2 years professional experience in electronic design  

  • PCD and PCB design and layout experience 

  • Experience using Altium Designer 

 

This position requires a minimum of 3 days per week in-office attendance.

A minimum of 200Mb/sec download and 10Mb/sec upload speed internet connectivity is required to support any remote/hybrid employee functionality at Sonova
