Manufacturing Systems & Software Specialist

 

Our Corporate Manufacturing Engineering department is the bridge between Research & Development and Operations, representing the technical engineering expertise within Sonova Operations. In this role, you will work on a wide range of projects related to manufacturing systems for our global manufacturing sites.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Integrate new products into manufacturing systems.

  • Improve manufacturing systems and related processes.

  • Provide 3rd-level support for manufacturing systems and related software.

  • Develop and maintain measurement & configuration systems, ensuring high process stability, cost-effectiveness, ease of use, and minimal maintenance.

  • Deliver software for measurement & configuration systems on time.

  • Support measurement & configuration systems across Sonova Operations Centers, R&D Centers, and Regional Centers.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation and procedures in compliance with internal SOPs and external regulations.

 

About You

  • Education: BSc in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

  • Experience: A few years of relevant work experience preferred.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in C# or other programming languages.

    • Knowledge of electrical engineering and measurement technologies.

    • Experience in LabVIEW (or other programming languages) is a plus.

    • Knowledge of statistical methods is a plus.

  • Availability to work in-office at least 3 days per week.

  • Minimum internet speed requirement for hybrid work: 200Mb/sec download, 10Mb/sec upload.
