• Develop and document inspection criteria for components and materials, ensuring alignment with design intent, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
• Perform hands-on prototyping and testing across the full development cycle from concept through production
• Analyze engineering challenges and actively contribute to cross-functional problem solving during development and sustaining phases, including tooling and molding operations
• Lead and document new part approvals, sustaining engineering activities, and change notes in accordance with QMS and regulatory workflows
• Provide ongoing production support through technical documentation, process improvements, and collaboration with manufacturing teams
More about you:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience designing small-size, thin-wall plastic components for injection molding, ideally within medical or other high-precision industries
• Experience in new product development and sustaining engineering processes, including documentation and change control
• Hands-on experience with prototyping, DFM, DFA, and tolerance analysis
• Proficiency with Creo/Pro/E and PDM/Windchill (or equivalent CAD/PLM systems)
• Working knowledge of machining methods, die making or stamping processes, injection molding, tooling principles, and assembly methods
• Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and documentation accuracy
