Research Audiologist
We are seeking a Research Audiologist to lead prevalidation and verification studies for new hearing aid products based on the Sonova platform. In this role, you will support global R&D efforts, contributing to the development of advanced platforms and algorithms. If you have a strong audiology background and a passion for innovation in hearing technology.
Responsibilities:

Conduct clinical prevalidation projects on new features and product lines.

Maintain internal databases, study records, and ensure compliance.

Perform data analysis, interpret findings, and complete reports.

Support research lab setup and development activities within the Innovation Center.

Collaborate with Sonova Group R&D, Marketing, Audiology, and ConnectHearing teams.

Work with external research partners to develop evaluation protocols and conduct studies.

Present research findings at scientific meetings and publish in peer-reviewed journals.

Perform other assignments as needed.
More about you:

1+ years of experience in hearing aids or related industry.

Hands-on experience in hearing aid fitting.

Strong professional knowledge with 1-2 years of research experience preferred.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong computer skills.
-
Ability to design and conduct product research studies.

Proactive, research-driven, and results-oriented.
-
Technically skilled in supporting lab and equipment maintenance.

Creative, adaptable, and a quick learner.
-
Works well under pressure and in a team environment.
A minimum of 200Mb/sec download and 10Mb/sec upload speed internet connectivity is required to support any remote/hybrid employee functionality at Sonova
