Overview: As an SAP Consultant – Archiving, you will be responsible for overseeing the process of archiving data within an SAP environment. Ensuring the efficient and compliant management of data archiving to optimize system performance, meet legal requirements, and support business needs.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive data archiving strategy aligned with the organization's data management policies and business objectives.
  • Identify and define the types of data that need to be archived and the appropriate retention periods.
  • Plan and execute data archiving projects, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Monitor and manage the archiving processes to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
  • Liaise with business units and IT teams to ensure alignment and support for archiving activities.
  • Conduct regular audits of archiving processes to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement
  • Resolve Level 2, 3 Support Issues (SD/MM)
  • Perform Service Requests (standard change or service that is pre-approved because of low risk)

 

What you bring to the team:

  • Multiple end to end project lifecycle experience for implementing SAP & other Business Systems
  • Familiar with SAP Standard Functionalities (eg. ERP, Hana etc.) and Custom Development procedures
  • Experience in SAP support, operations, change request delivery
  • Past experience with archiving exercise is an asset
  • Experience managing an external team of SAP consultants is an asset
  • Exposure to requirements of ISO 13485, CFR 820, GMP, GDP,MDSAP, MDR, GRC
