Senior SAP Basis Administrator

Overview: As a Senior SAP Basis Administrator you will be acting as a subject matter expert in SAP administration as well as a deputy Basis Team Leader on SAP Administration.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Install, manage, monitor, tune & troubleshoot SAP systems and databases in accordance with defined SLAs
  • Manage & monitor operating systems on all SAP Systems
  • Provide SAP basis support to other SAP Teams
  • Participate in a rotating on-call program for after-hours emergency support
  • Work with IT Operations team members to design and implement controls for new technologies, systems & their supporting infrastructure to ensure systems are available and recoverable in accordance with our service level agreements
  • Provide guidance to other SAP Basis/Auths Team members including external contractors
  • Scope and manage SAP Administration project tasks

 

What you bring to the team:

  • 10+ years experience in the Information Technology Field
  • 5+ years of relational database design, maintenance, performance tuning, upgrading and administering
  • 3+ years of SAP HANA database maintenance, performance tuning, upgrading and administering
  • 5+ years supporting SAP systems in Windows environments
  • 5+ years SAP Basis core support including transport management, patching, enhancement packages and version upgrades
  • Ability in project planning and execution
  • Experience implementing and migrating large scale SAP enterprise wide applications and databases to new platforms and versions
  • Experience with Active Directory including GPOs
  • Availability to work selected weekends to perform off-hours maintenance to ensure our systems are available and secure
