Senior Software Requirements Engineer - CONTRACT

Senior Software Requirements Engineer (CONTRACT 14-15 MONTHS)

 

Responsible for coordinating, creating and consolidating product development documentation as it pertains to requirements and specifications for regulated medical software. Provide recommendations related to management and coordination of product development documentation to all relevant teams.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Meets with stakeholders to gain a comprehensive understanding of the products
  • Liaises with Product Managers to elicit and appropriately document requirements for software projects (includes hearing aid firmware, desktop fitting software and mobile applications)
  • Coordinates with various Research and Development (R&D) departments to understand and communicate feature feasibility (both technical and timeline feasibility), arbitrating any conflicts that may arise
  • Works with various R&D personnel to adapt requirements into software specifications using appropriate, unambiguous language, for use in software development
  • Recommend actions and necessary changes related to product documentation.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to other Requirements Engineers and related functions.
  • Performs other duties, depending upon the successful candidate’s skillset

More about you:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 2-5 years business analysis experience in a technology environment
  • Strong computer and word processing skills
  • Strong analytical and prioritization skills
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Ability to distill and communicate complex technical concepts clearly and succinctly
  • Strong background in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

A minimum of 200Mb/sec download and 10Mb/sec upload speed internet connectivity is required to support any remote/hybrid employee functionality at Sonova
