The Software QA Analyst is responsible for testing software applications that support hearing aid technology, manufacturing processes, and internal sales and marketing tools. This role focuses on identifying software defects, ensuring product quality, and supporting the delivery of reliable software solutions for both internal and external users.
Responsibilities:

Perform software verification activities including functional, exploratory, structural, regression, load, and performance testing

Identify, investigate, and document software defects and root causes within the defect tracking system

Validate bug fixes and confirm resolution of identified issues

Take a structured and exploratory approach to testing to ensure product quality

Communicate testing progress, findings, and results to project stakeholders

Provide technical knowledge transfer and support to QA team members

Collaborate with the Software QA Manager and development teams to meet project timelines
More about you:

Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field

Experience with application software testing is a strong asset

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities
-
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a development team
A minimum of 200Mb/sec download and 10Mb/sec upload speed internet connectivity is required to support any remote/hybrid employee functionality at Sonova

Pay Range: $60K to $75K
