Inventory Entitlement Specialist

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Inventory Entitlement Specialist to join our Supply Chain Business Systems team. In this role you own the analytical backbone for Sonova’s finished-goods and component flows. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing inventory data within our ERP and advanced planning systems. This role will support both strategic and operational supply chain initiatives by ensuring data accuracy, driving process improvements, and enabling data-driven decision-making through insights derived from various system applications.

 

Responsibilities:
• Maintain and improve inventory master data accuracy in SAP and planning systems
• Perform regular data integrity checks across material attributes, locations, and batch status
• Support planning parameter setup (e.g., safety stock, lead times) and system configurations
• Run entitlement models to optimize inventory across global supply chain
• Reconcile inventory discrepancies and perform root cause analysis
• Generate and automate standard inventory reports and KPIs (e.g., turns, accuracy, aging)
• Collaborate cross-functionally with planning, IT, operations, and finance teams
• Participate in system testing, upgrades, and cross-functional inventory projects
• Provide support and training to users on planning tools and inventory best practices
• Ad hoc tasks and analysis as required

Experience and Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• Work Experience: 3+ years in inventory planning, logistics analytics, or PFEP; experience in medical device or high-mix environment is a plus
• Strong knowledge of SAP (MM/WM or S/4HANA), Excel, SQL; BI tools like Power BI or Tableau
• Understanding of safety stock modeling and planning logic (ABC/XYZ, variability, SEIO, MEIO)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across functions
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical capabilities
Advanced English level/ fluent in English speaking

Travelling Requirement: Minimal

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a global supply chain team driving inventory excellence through data, systems, and collaboration. The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, and passionate about process improvement across a complex network. 

A minimum of 200Mb/sec download and 10Mb/sec upload speed internet connectivity is required to support any remote/hybrid employee functionality at Sonova
