The Impression Scanning Technician is responsible for preparing and digitally scanning impressions for custom hearing instrument orders. This role supports production workflow by ensuring impressions are accurately processed and orders are released efficiently.
Responsibilities:

Prepare impressions for digital processing

Perform digital impression scanning using production equipment

Release Unitron orders as part of the production workflow

Maintain Smart Optics scanning equipment and perform axis adjustments

Perform quality control checks according to ISO quality standards

Support production processes and complete additional tasks as assigned
More about you:

Elementary education required; secondary education preferred
-
Entry-level role; no previous experience required
-
Previous hearing aid manufacturing experience is a plus

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
-
Ability to follow work instructions precisely

Basic computer skills; experience with SAP or 3D software is an asset
A minimum of 200Mb/sec download and 10Mb/sec upload speed internet connectivity is required to support any remote/hybrid employee functionality at Sonova
