The Open Mail Technician is responsible for receiving, opening, and sorting courier packages and mail received by the production center. This role ensures that incoming orders and documentation are processed accurately and routed to the appropriate departments to support production workflow.
Responsibilities:

Deliver incoming mail from the receiving area to the mail opening station

Open and process courier packages received by the facility

Sort mail by order type for production processing

Identify and properly route dangerous goods when applicable

Perform quality control checks according to ISO quality standards

Support additional production functions as assigned
More about you:

Elementary education required; secondary education preferred

Entry-level role; no previous experience required

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Ability to follow work instructions accurately

Basic computer skills are an asset
A minimum of 200Mb/sec download and 10Mb/sec upload speed internet connectivity is required to support any remote/hybrid employee functionality at Sonova
