Training Coordinator
Training Coordinator – Mississauga, Ontario, Canada
The Training Coordinator oversees all training activities associated with product launches, documentation revisions, and process changes to ensure ISO compliance. This role also manages employee training and cross-training programs while supporting operational and engineering initiatives to maintain quality and readiness across the organization.
Responsibilities:

Initiate, plan, and coordinate all training and cross-training activities for Operations employees

Organize and deliver training and onboarding for new hires

Develop and coordinate training programs for product launches and new process implementations

Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities to ensure operational readiness

Maintain training documentation and records in validated systems such as SmartSolve, LMS, or similar platforms
-
Create and maintain training materials, work instructions, and supporting documentation

Conduct ISO compliance audits related to job certifications and operational processes
-
Participate in Non-Conformance (NC) and Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) processes, including documentation and follow-ups

Conduct production floor tours and provide training-related administrative support

Collaborate closely with management to plan, deliver, and evaluate training needs and results

Support and manage projects as assigned, ensuring compliance and alignment with ISO standards
More about you:

High school diploma or equivalent required; college diploma preferred

Minimum 2 years of experience as a trainer or in a related support role

Strong organizational and time-management skills, with exceptional attention to detail
-
Effective verbal and written communication; able to adapt to cultural differences
-
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Creative problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic IT knowledge
-
Knowledge of graphic design software and ability to create work instructions is an asset
-
Previous hearing aid assembly experience is an advantage
A minimum of 200Mb/sec download and 10Mb/sec upload speed internet connectivity is required to support any remote/hybrid employee functionality at Sonova
