Wiring Technician

Mississauga, ON  – Onsite

 

 

Wiring Technician

 

This position is responsible for modification, wiring and building electronic kits for custom instruments.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Components layout planning
  • Circuit modification
  • Programming and PLA activation
  • Scratch builds and electronic transfers
  • Kit preparation
  • Troubleshooting
  • Total QC function according to ISO Quality Policy Manual
  • Any other function required by management in accordance with Training Grid

More about you:

  • Elementary or equivalent; Secondary or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous hearing aid manufacturing experience in wiring preferred.
  • Good organizational skills and detail oriented, exxcellent time management skills preferred.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, good problem solving abilities preferred.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, with the ability to work independently preferred
  • Ability to follow work instructions precisely, with experience reviewing customer order forms preferred
  • Ability to communicate in English, with professional working proficiency preferred
  • Basic computer skills required, with knowledge of programming hearing aids preferred
  • Ability to use a ladder and remain on feet for most of the day and lift boxes up to 20 lbs, with the ability to identify inconsistencies in shipments preferred

Further Requirements: Good hand/eye coordination and dexterity and understanding of wiring schematics preferred.

 

Additional Remarks:

Full compliance with safety and ESD (if applicable) standards, cleanness in the workplace and other policies as described in the Employee Handbook and ISO Manual is mandatory.

This position is also responsible for monitoring inventory levels of shipping supplies and packaging and notifying it to management.

This role's pay range is between: $17.60/hr – $20.00/hr. This is also bonus eligible.
