Reliability & Test Engineer

Are you ready to bring your expertise to a purpose-driven, collaborative environment where your ideas truly matter? We’re looking for a Test and Reliability Engineer within our R&D department (RF and ES Team) to help us develop high-quality, reliable hearing device accessories that positively impact lives.  

As the Test and Reliability Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of our innovation journey ensuring product performance and reliability while empowering cross-functional teams in electronics, RF, and mechanical engineering.  

Key responsibilities:

  • Reliability Engineering 
  • Lead the planning and documentation of reliability initiatives, including Reliability Plans and FMEA
  • Serve as a reliability subject matter expert, providing guidance to cross-functional teams.  
  • Design and conduct lifetime testing for products and components. 
  • Perform root cause analysis and propose design improvements based on findings.  

Hardware Testing  

  • Take ownership of hardware testing as the HW Test Manager for various product development projects. 
  • Develop strategic test plans that accurately reflect real-world conditions, risk factors, and project timelines.  
  • Coordinate with engineers across electronics, RF, acoustics, and mechanics to ensure comprehensive and insightful testing.  
  • Utilize Polarion to manage verification plans, test cases, and reporting.  
  • Support the team in the development of test systems (hardware and software).  
  • Document the specifications and procedures for test systems.  

Your profile    

  • A Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering. 
  • Hands-on experience in electronics development, preferably in hearing technology or miniaturized devices.  
  • Proficiency in LabVIEW / TestStand. 
  • Skilled in FMEA (preferably as a moderator) and understanding of regulatory standards.  
  • Confident working on prototypes and PCBs, with attention to small-scale components.  
  • Fluent in English   
  • Nice-to-Haves  
    • Certification in Reliability Engineering or Testing (ISTQB)
    • Experience in project management and tools like MS Project, Minitab, or Matlab.
    • Working knowledge of German and/or French.
