Test & Configuration System Development Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Test & Configuration System Development Engineer to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of advanced manufacturing equipment, test systems, and configuration software that bring new products to life.

 

Your tasks

 

  • Development of manufacturing equipment, hardware and software for new products
  • Development of new test systems, based on products specifications
  • Development of test and configuration software sequences
  • Develop and maintain software function to interact with measurement equipment
  • Ensure 2nd level support for equipment installed in production
  • Deliver documentation according to SOP
  • Collaborate with R&D and NPI projects leaders
  • Support and train the production centers during installation of new equipment

 

Your profile

 

  • University degree in Industrial System; degree in Automation would be a plus
  • Experience in a similar position, having deep knowledge in industrial systems and managing measurement equipment 
  • Programming skills in Labview are a must, Python and C# are nice to have
  • Proven track record of leading projects and project teams
  • Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills, with ability to structure and facilitate complex processes
  • Agile mindset with ability to deal with unforeseen circumstances
  • Ability to use MS Office and SAP system
  • Fluency in English, knowledge of any of these languages would be a plus – French, German, Spanish
