Senior Business Development Specialist (Remote)
The purpose of this position is to strategically develop, implement, monitor, and optimize AB + HCP partnership, within your assigned geographical area, as a means of facilitating qualified lead generation activities. This position requires demonstration of sales skills and strategic management of new and existing HCP partners by identifying customer needs and providing solutions through value added services. This role is responsible for revenue driving activities that support organic growth. The role requires engagement with Regional Sales teams and our Sonova Brand partners.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain a business development strategy specific to a defined geographic territory, while leveraging and building the leading reputation of AB and Sonova, to create new business opportunities.
- Leverage relationships between Sonova sales, finance, marketing, customer service, legal, and product management to create new ways of driving goods and services to market.
- Align with Sonova partners to identify new HCP opportunities while optimizing existing relationships.
- Deploy targeted HCP educational CI Network propositions to clinics in your assigned geographical region.
- Employ best practice efficiency methods to highlight value added service of partner programs and the CI Network.
- Provide continuous business and sales support to members of the CI Network in your assigned geographical region.
- Drive decision-making processes evaluating the benefit of potential new markets to the business.
- Plan and perform sales activities that move sales forward.
- Support national and regional conventions/conferences that benefit the CI Network.
- Collaborate with Regional Managers and the local AB team to provide ongoing support for HCPs, and host events to facilitate business efforts of the CI Network.
- Use Salesforce for sales planning and reporting as directed.
- Manage time appropriately to ensure that adequate time is spent on proactive sales activities.
- Travel to clinics within your assigned geographical region to execute sales activities.
- Other duties as assigned.

More about you:
Education
- Bachelor's degree
Further Education
- Advanced Audiology or Business Degree
Work Experience
- 3+ years in business development, sales, or medical device industry
- 3+ years Clinical audiology with some experience with both adults and pediatrics and cochlear implants
Nice to Have
- Sales and training experience is a plus.
- Sales experience working at a class three medical device company is a plus.
Professional Competencies
- Must be willing to learn and effectively implement sales techniques to increase AB market share.

This role's pay range is between: $85,600/yr - $128,400/yr (based on location). This role is also bonus eligible.
