HR Advisor/Business Partner

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced HR Advisor/BP who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of Australians, is values driven and aspires to deliver best practice HR.

Reporting to the HR Director, and based in our modern offices in North Sydney, we offer the flexibility to work under a hybrid work model. You will be part of a small team who are passionate about driving employee engagement.

As part of the Sonova Group, Sonova Audiological Care Australia has two client facing brands: Connect Hearing and Neurosensory. Under these brands we have a national network of hearing clinics which provide client-focused hearing healthcare to all Australians. Attracting, engaging, inspiring and retaining top quality talent sits at the heart of our capacity to deliver client service excellence. 

 

What will you be doing?

  • Partner with business leaders in your own client group of 150-200 FTE, across a geographically dispersed network to implement strategies focused on key employee end-to-end lifecycle projects including talent acquisition and onboarding, employee engagement programs, organisational design, succession planning and talent management/development, promotions and transfers, remuneration and benefits management, employee termination, ER issue resolution and Diversity & Inclusion.
  • Maximise employee engagement to ensure increased talent attraction, retention and development through program and business partnering.
  • Provide counsel to team members and managers on a range of HR related matters, including Workers Compensation and investigations.
  • Oversee internal communications, including the weekly company newsletter.

 

What do you need to be successful in this role?

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or related field.
  • 4+ years’ experience in HR Advisor role and looking for that next step up to a HRBP role.
  • Sound knowledge of AU employment legislation.
  • Strong communications skills, both written and verbal, experience with overseeing internal communications highly desirable.
  • Customer focused, with outstanding stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactive, solutions focused, highly organised & ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in M&A and harmonization of HR processes highly desirable
  • Experience with a geographically dispersed workforce, within healthcare environment desirable
