Website Manager- 12-month fixed term contract

This is a 12-month fixed term opportunity to take full ownership of Boots Hearingcare’s website, app, and e-commerce performance. You’ll be responsible for ensuring everything runs seamlessly- from uptime and security to booking journeys and customer experience, while driving continuous improvement across our digital estate.

The digital environment
You’ll operate within a growing digital function, working across marketing, data, development, and external partners to deliver a high-performing digital experience.

The role
As a Website Manager, you’ll:
- Own the operational performance, stability, and security of the website and app
- Manage website updates, CMS improvements, and content deployments
- Ensure online booking functionality is optimised and running smoothly
- Monitor and improve website performance, uptime, and user experience
- Lead issue identification, troubleshooting, and bug resolution
- Maintain compliance with GDPR, cookies, accessibility, and security standards
- Manage analytics and tracking (GA4, Tag Manager) to ensure accurate data
- Drive continuous improvement across website, app, and e-commerce performance
- Work with agencies, developers, and internal teams to deliver enhancements

What we’re looking for
- 4–6 years’ experience managing websites or digital platforms
- Experience owning website performance, uptime, and user experience
- Strong understanding of CMS platforms, hosting, and web technologies
- Experience with analytics tools (GA4, Tag Manager)
- Knowledge of GDPR, security, and compliance requirements
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Experience working with agencies, developers, and cross-functional teams
Desirable
- Experience within retail, e-commerce, or healthcare environments
- Experience managing app platforms or digital ecosystems
- Experience driving UX or conversion improvements
