This is an opportunity to take end-to-end ownership of Boots Hearingcare’s digital ecosystem, including our website, app, e-commerce platform, customer portal, and online booking journey. You’ll play a key role in ensuring everything runs seamlessly and efficiently while driving continuous improvement across customer experience, usability, performance, and digital growth.

The digital environment

You’ll operate within a growing digital function, working across marketing, analytics, development, agencies, suppliers, and global teams to deliver a high-performing and continually improving digital experience.

This role is about owning and evolving digital platforms, not just maintaining them.

 

The role

As a Website Manager, you’ll:

  • Own the operational performance and health of the website and app
  • Manage website updates, CMS improvements and digital trading activity
  • Ensure online booking journeys and customer self-service functionality work as Customers expect them to.
  • Act as Product Owner across the website, app, and e-commerce platform
  • Drive improvements across UX, conversion, accessibility, engagement, and retention
  • Work with IT teams on issue identification, troubleshooting and QA checks
  • Maintain compliance with GDPR, cookies, accessibility, and security standards
  • Manage analytics and tracking integrations including GA4 and Google Tag Manager
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, technical teams, agencies, and suppliers
  • Use data and insight to drive decisions, prioritise improvements, and support growth objectives
  • Support supplier and agency relationship management, including SLA performance
  • Contribute to wider marketing and digital transformation projects

You’ll ensure the digital experience is continuously monitored, optimised, and improved to enhance performance, user experience, and customer conversion.

What we’re looking for

  • 4–6 years’ experience managing business-critical websites or digital platforms
  • Experience owning website, app, or e-commerce platform performance end-to-end
  • Strong understanding of CMS platforms, hosting, cloud infrastructure, and web technologies
  • Experience with analytics and tracking tools including GA4 and Google Tag Manager
  • Knowledge of GDPR, accessibility, security standards, SSL, and compliance requirements
  • Strong troubleshooting, QA, and problem-solving capability
  • Experience working with agencies, developers, suppliers, and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Commercial awareness with understanding of customer journeys, UX, and optimisation
  • Ability to balance operational delivery with continuous improvement and strategic thinking
  • Highly organised, proactive, and solutions-focused mindset

 

Desirable

  • Shopify experience
  • Contentstack or similar CMS experience
  • Power BI experience
  • Experience within retail, e-commerce, or healthcare environments
  • Experience driving UX, engagement, or conversion improvements
