Area Sales Manager

We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Area Sales Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the sales of Phonak products in the greater Oslo region, contributing to the growth and success of our business. You will play a key part in optimizing the workflow within the sales department, ensuring that targets are met and processes run smoothly.

 

Your tasks

 

  • Take primary responsibility for a dedicated customer base, providing audiological and product support through visits, phone calls, and ad-hoc programming
  • Actively gather and share customer insights to inform sales strategies and improve workflows
  • Conduct upselling and complementary sales in B2B support, aligned with company strategy
  • Participate in internal and external meetings, including GC, department, and relevant launch meetings, providing market feedback and contributing to product launches
  • Provide ongoing training for customers, sales reps, and internal teams, including developing hands-on training for new product launches
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of audiology and product developments, seeking continuous self-improvement
  • Assist with ad-hoc tasks from Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service, while ensuring accurate information is updated in systems and communicated to colleagues
  • Ensure compliance with company guidelines and actively contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment, reflecting company values

 

Your profile

 

  • Strong foundational knowledge in Audiology, ideally backed by a university degree in the field
  • Working experience or background in clinical settings
  • In-depth technical knowledge related to the products and services
  • Ability to take initiative and organize tasks efficiently
  • Dedicated to understanding and meeting customer needs
  • Open, outgoing, and able to build strong relationships with others
  • Excellent communication skills in both Norwegian and English 
  • Driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 80%
