Hourly Rate & Schedule: $20.00-23.00 an hour, based on experience
Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
Position Summary:
The Lab Tech performs functions associated with the service of hearing aids and accessories including cleanings and modifications, and basic office duties.

Responsibilities & Duties:
- Greet patients with a positive and professional attitude
- Collect patient intake forms and maintain patient files/notes
- Receive inbound calls, schedule/confirm appointments for new and repeat patients
- First level support to patients, answer questions, check patients in/out, collect and process payments
- Processes returns/refunds, as well as returning aids for credit, under the direct supervision of a licensed Hearing Care Professional
- Process repairs, under the direct supervision of a licensed Hearing Care Professional
- General knowledge and ability to sell accessories such as batteries, etc.
- Support in processing patient orders, receive all orders and verify pick up, input information into all relevant systems
- Clean and maintain equipment and instruments
- Submit equipment and facility requests
- General office duties, including office cleanliness
- Timely and effectively manage inventory, order/monitor stock hearing aids, and submit supply orders as needed
- Clean & performance checks on Hearing Aids and accessories
- Provide Hearing Aid/accessory service assistance to walk-in patients
- Support the HCPs with Hearing Aid/accessory modifications.
- Visually inspect Hearing Aids/accessories and identify defects as required
- Perform general routine machine maintenance and daily workstation clean-up
- Meet established individual goals
- Assist with event planning and logistics of community outreach events to promote the AudioNova brand and generate demand.
- Operates in compliance with all local, state and Federal laws as well as Company policy and compliance standards
- Adhere to AudioNova brand standards
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Job Qualifications
Education:
•High School Diploma or equivalent
Certifications:

Industry/Product Knowledge Required:
•Demonstrated understanding of ESD and handling of materials in accordance with safety procedures
Skills/Abilities:
•Modify Hearing Aids and accessories
•Provide Hearing Aid/Earmold service assistance to walk-in patients
•Support the HCPs with Hearing Aid/accessory modifications
•Clean and check Hearing Aids
•Excellent manual dexterity, use small hand tools and light bench equipment
