Senior Project Manager
Sr Project Manager
Purpose of role: Network structural improvements are essential for Sonova to improve profitability, reduce global risk, improve customer service, reduce Co2 impact and increase ESG performance. This role is heavily dedicated to the development and implementation of strategies, facilities, end-to-end processes and organizations.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
- End to End project management of high level and strategic projects
- Maintenance of a structural improvement funnel for the region
- Definition, valuation and prioritization of the regional programs
- Influencing and leading regional business and operations leadership through periods of high impact structural change
- Pro-active engagement with MB & MB-1 global stakeholders
- Managing global work transitions
- Owning a standard process and tool kit for implementation
- Bringing ESG leadership and drive to the America’s region
- Overseeing a portfolio of regional initiatives
- Full cycle program management (from idea through post-launch phase) of high-level and complex structural improvement projects or key projects with a very high business impact in close alignment with Commercial and Operations Leaders regionally and globally.
- Own regular program and project communications with all stakeholders from project team members through Senior Management
- Collaborate with the VP Sustainability, Infrastructure and PMO, to ensure regular inflow of improvement opportunities with the relevant stakeholders.
- Own the full business case in partnership with regional and functional leaders for the structural improvement opportunities (in line with best practice project valuation principles)
- Prepare proposals for Management Board review of multi-year network structure improvements including Capex, Opex, Resources and Asset utilization and / or depreciation profiles over time to achieve project budget and exit rates
- Systematically evolve and enhance toolset and knowledge base with learnings from past and current projects
- Lead change and engagement initiatives locally in line with transformational project requirements
- Effectively prioritize and interact with IT / ERP workstreams within structural programs
- Own overall progress and result tracking of running opportunities versus initiative and group targets
- Mentor other Project Managers within the organization
- Collaborate closely with VPs, MB, MD level stakeholders across group companies and functions
- Other duties as assigned
Education and Skillset:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Sciences, Masters degree preferred
- 10+ years direct experience being the lead for and accountable for multi-process / multi region transformational / structural programs.
- Supply chain and continuous improvement experience
- Multi-project / year experience across business process excellence, infrastructure setup or transition within a multinational industrial environment or for a reputable consulting firm.
- Experience with SAP roll-out projects and medical devices / consumer products a plus
- Transformational and resilient leader
- Able to work from the details to the C-Suite level.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to build and maintain relationships
- Experience with complex PMO
Experience with cross border team leadership a plus
- Strong time management, organizational, and prioritization skills
- Able to work in a fast paced multi-tasking environment
- PMI / LEAN certified a plus
- Experience with SAP ERP, SAP BW, Cognos CPM, PM tools
A minimum of 200Mb/sec download and 10Mb/sec upload speed internet connectivity is required to support any remote/hybrid employee functionality at Sonova

If the applicant selected for this role resides in CA, CO, NY or WA we adhere to the pay transparency required in those states. This role's pay range is between: $105,000 – $137,000.
