Purpose of the Job

The purpose of this role is to specialize in the customization, production, and repair of hearing aids, including ITE, cShell, eMold, and slim tip models. This position is also responsible for repairing and servicing RIC devices to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

 

 

 

 

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Repair and troubleshoot ITE, RIC, BTE, and DWA products, utilizing advanced repair technologies for each.
  • Provide repair and maintenance services for FM products.
  • Perform rework (repair) and technical support for ITE products.
  • Respond to customer inquiries, identify issues, propose solutions, and provide procedural support.
  • Analyze and comprehend data, creating detailed reports to track and improve repair processes.

Basic Education

 

Degree in Audiology, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

Work Experience

At least 3 years of experience in assembling and repairing hearing aids

Relevant experience in the same industry

Professional Competencies

  • Basic understanding of hearing aid assembly, including tasks such as coating, kitting, and processing, with a willingness to learn and improve skills.
  • Ability to assist in diagnosing and repairing hearing aids, including RIC, BTE, and ITE models, under supervision and guidance.
  • Strong customer response skills, with the ability to communicate effectively, identify issues, and assist in finding solutions.
